A handy gravel link between two highways, this one's a relaxed alternative to sticking on the sealed roads. The going is straightforward gravel with little in the way of obstacles, so it's more of a pleasant drive than anything technical.

There are two fords along the way. One is usually dry, the other can carry a bit of flow, so expect at least one genuine river crossing. In good conditions it suits most vehicles.
