A very short forest track in the Coromandel, dropping off the road down to the Tairua River. It's an easy run on a gravel surface with low bush rash, suitable for most vehicles, though there's a shallow section where you can wade through the river edge (not across) and you'd want 4x4 to climb back up the bank. The track leads to a quiet, leafy spot by the water that's perfect for pulling over and having lunch. A nice short detour rather than a destination drive, well suited to a relaxed stop while exploring the wider Tairua area.
