Out at the far north of the Coromandel Peninsula, this gravel road winds its way through bush and coast on its way to the Stony Bay DOC campsite. It's an easy run rather than anything technical, with plenty of curves and good outlooks over the water along the way.

One of the quieter corners of the peninsula, though it does fill up over the summer holidays when the campsite gets busy. The road ends right at the Stony Bay DOC camp, a good spot to finish a relaxed day out.
