Following Devils Creek up through classic West Coast bush, this gravel road makes a pleasant run up to where the Big River track begins. The creek keeps you company for much of the way, and the bush closes in nice and thick around you.

The surface is gravel throughout and the going is generally straightforward, so it's more of an approach route than anything technical. Where it ends, at the start of the Big River track, is where the more adventurous travel kicks off.
