A quiet little run through Otago farmland, this one makes a decent alternative to a stretch of the main highway. Open rural country either side, nothing dramatic, just a slower pace away from the passing traffic.

It's gravel the whole way and well-formed, so most vehicles will get through fine in good conditions. The going is gentle with no technical bits to worry about, more of a relaxed amble than anything that'll test you.

Handy if you want to dodge a section of the main road or just take it easy for a while. A practical link road that does its job.
