Winding gravel and farm road that climbs through rolling hill country in inland Canterbury. The route follows easy-going gravel and station tracks, twisting through the hills with open views across the farmland and ranges.

Expect plenty of gates along the way, since the road runs through working farmland. Leave them exactly as you found them to keep stock secure and stay on good terms with the landholders.
