A short, scenic side track in the hills leading out to the stunning Island Gully hut. The drive begins with a small stream crossing, then the route winds around to the hut, tucked just off the main road. It's an easy-going little detour rated easy to medium, with little to no bush rash, making it a rewarding stop without much commitment. The real talking point is the toilet, which has arguably one of the best views around, looking out over the surrounding hills and valley.
