Hurunui Bluff is an easygoing North Canterbury gravel road with river access points, riverside fishing spots and open Hurunui valley views.
A gravel road runs along the bluff with the Hurunui River threading through the valley below. This isn't a technical challenge, more a relaxed drive that's all about the scenery and getting down to the water.
Several access points let you drop down to the riverside, handy for a break, a spot of fishing, or just taking in the open river-valley views.
