4WD track in the West Coast region
Four Mile Road is an easy West Coast gravel drive through limestone-walled bush to the Nile River, suited to relaxed touring rather than technical work.
A scenic forest drive that runs into a valley framed by limestone cliffs, finishing down at the Nile River. The bush along here is thick and lush, so it can block the views in places, but the limestone scenery and the river setting still make it worth the trip.
Easy gravel the whole way and mostly flat, with one steep downhill section as you drop into the valley toward the river. There's a lake near the start that makes a good spot to pull over, and plenty of room to park up at the river at the end.
The round trip is short, about an hour out and back, so it suits a relaxed drive.
