Just north of Punakaiki, this gravel road heads inland through classic West Coast limestone country. It gives access to the Bullock Creek valley, climbing crags, and the Inland Pack Track. Generally easy in dry weather, but the area floods fast after rain and conditions can change suddenly. A quiet, scenic side trip into the edge of Paparoa National Park.
