Blackwater Creek is a hard 4WD track on the West Coast, working its way up the creek of the same name. The surrounding country is classic Coast bush, with tight scrub crowding the route and the creek itself a constant companion.

This is genuinely challenging terrain. Expect water crossings, mud and narrow, overgrown sections that will scratch up paintwork, so leave the shiny rig at home. The track changes character over time, so don't count on it matching previous trips.

Best suited to capable, well-equipped vehicles and drivers comfortable with rough, low-traction going. Travel prepared for the conditions and be ready to adapt as the route evolves.
