Short gravel run out to the coast, just like the name suggests. Easy going and fine for most vehicles, taking you from the road's end down to the sand in not much time at all.

Once you're out there it's the wild, open West Coast shoreline you'd expect. Driftwood scattered across the sand and the Tasman rolling in beyond. Good spot to pull over for a coastal stop, have a quick wander, or just sit and take in the sea.
