Easy gravel that suits just about any vehicle, this one is more about where it goes than the drive itself. Most of it is a gentle run, the sort of road you can take at a relaxed pace.

Head out toward the Ngaroma 4WD Park and the country changes quickly, from wild to a fair bit wilder. There are a few routes branching off Waitaramoa Road too, so if hardcore terrain isn't your thing you can pick a softer line and still get a good look at the back blocks.
