A short detour off the seal and onto the gravel, following the Waikakahi stream with farmland on either side for most of the way.

It's an easy gravel run rather than anything technical, so it suits most vehicles in dry conditions. Nothing dramatic about it, but a quiet bit of back country if you're after a change from the main roads.

Good one to tack onto a longer loop through the area.
