Wide open sand and big ocean views make this an easy spot to spend an afternoon. The entrance onto the beach is hard packed, then it opens out onto soft sand and dunes where you can pull up and take it all in.

It's a popular, shared beach, so keep your speed down and watch for other people about. There are no-vehicle zones at the northern and southern ends, so don't travel beyond the lines marked on the map.

Like any beach drive, keep an eye on the tides and plan your run around the water. More a relaxed scenic outing than a technical drive, good for a laid-back day on the coast.
