4WD track in the Tasman region
Tumble Down Bay is a scenic Tasman gravel road running out to a tiny beach at Jerdans Bay, with coastal views and a few spots to stop for a swim.
A gravel road out to a tiny little beach, with some big coastal views along the way. Nothing too technical, but it's a pretty drive, and there are a few nice beaches to pull into for a swim or a picnic.
Mostly unsealed and generally in good nick, though it narrows noticeably after the halfway mark. A woolshed sits beside the bay there, which is a good spot to stop and have a feed. From there the road carries on out to its end at Jerdans Bay.
Take it steady on the narrow sections and blind corners, and be ready to give way.
