A short run through tall native bush, sheltered and quiet the whole way through. The forest closes in around you, classic middle-of-the-country stuff with stands of totara and the like lining the track.

Easygoing driving, nothing technical about it. More of a connector than a destination, it leads out to the start of the Ketemaringi Route, so it's worth knowing about if you're heading on to that longer track.

Think of it as a quick hop that sets you up for what's beyond rather than something you'd come out for on its own.
