4WD track in the Northland region
Tokerau Beach northern access is a Far North Northland beach drive with open sand, dunes and ocean views, best tackled at low tide.
This is the northernmost access point onto Tokerau Beach in the Far North of Northland. From here you can drop down onto the sand and travel the long, open stretch of beach, with the dunes on one side and the surf on the other.
It's a classic Northland beach drive offering wide ocean views and plenty of room to explore at low tide. The remote, open feel of this part of the peninsula makes it a memorable run along the coast.
As with all beach driving, keep an eye on the tides and soft sand, and take care around the dune access where conditions can change. A scenic spot to begin a coastal run and soak up the wide horizons.
