A scenic gravel run out through the western reaches of the Marlborough Sounds, around Admiralty Bay way. The road tracks along the cliff tops with plenty of spots to pull over and take in the sweeping views across the bay and the surrounding waterways.

It's a relaxed, well-formed gravel drive. You'll get winding sections as the road climbs and drops through the rugged Sounds country, but it stays easy going at a leisurely pace.
