A back way through the pines and out onto the beach, giving you a quieter run onto the sand than the main access. Not a bad option if you want to avoid the crowds.

The sand can get pretty soft in places, and you'll have a bit of climbing to do to get up and over. Worth having your tyres down and keeping your momentum up. Stick to the formed track through the trees rather than making your own line.

Keep an eye out for other vehicles coming the other way, especially where the track's narrow through the pines. Good one for a beach day if you've got a capable 4WD and know how to handle soft sand.
