A rough gravel road that runs out to the Sanctuary Campsite, following the Minginui Stream for much of its length. It hugs the waterway through forested country, weaving past stands of native bush.

This is a steady, scenic drive rather than a technical challenge, though the loose gravel keeps you honest and rewards careful steering. The stream stays with you for most of the way out to the campsite at the end.
