A string of back country roads winds through Wairarapa farmland, linking Moeraki, Ngakonui and Clifton Grove into an easy loop. Rolling farm land and quiet rural country the whole way.

It's all straightforward gravel. Best done in order, so the connecting roads feed you neatly back out to the main routes.

Keep an eye out for an old, not-quite-together bridge along the way. A quirky little landmark that adds a bit of character. A good option for taking in the countryside at a relaxed pace.
