A short gravel run out to the Mangatoetoenui Stream, well-formed all the way and easygoing enough for most 4WDs. More of a relaxed drive than anything technical.

The track drops you down to the banks of the stream, a quiet spot to pull over and take in the surroundings. It's a low-key destination rather than a busy trail, so it works well as part of a longer day out exploring the area.
