Lake Onoke sits near the southern coast of the Wairarapa in the Wellington region, where the lake meets the wetlands behind the dunes. This short gravel drive leads out to a viewpoint over the water, taking in the surrounding wetland landscape.

The track is an easy, low-difficulty run rather than a technical challenge. It's a relaxed outing on gravel, making it a nice quick detour if you're exploring the area.
