A gravel run that winds down to Moanauriuri Bay, with coastal scenery opening up as you drop toward the water. Easy enough outing with a worthwhile spot at the bottom.

The surface is formed gravel that gets slippery when wet, so take it steady on the downhill sections and corners in poor weather. In the dry it's a fairly straightforward run that most 4WDs will handle without trouble.

As with any gravel road, keep your speed down and watch for changing surface as you go.
