4WD track in the Hawke's Bay region
East Beach is a short Hawke's Bay sand run at the Mohaka River mouth, with a shifting crossing suited to capable, tide-aware 4WDs.
Out where the Mohaka River meets the sea, the access point drops you down onto the sand at the eastern end of Mohaka Beach. From there you follow the beach with the river mouth and the rough Hawke's Bay coastline behind you.
