Easy run down to Tokerau Beach, this one.

Once you're out of the dunes you've got a long, open beach to play with, backed by sandhills and typical of the Doubtless Bay coast up in the Far North. Good place to start a beach drive or just pull over and take in the view.

As with any beach access up this way, check the tides and have a look at the sand before you commit. Drop your tyre pressures down for the soft going and you'll have an easier time of it.
