A handy back route linking Pokaka with the 42 Traverse, so you can join the two without dropping onto the highway. Runs through pine and native bush country, quiet and off the main drag.

Mostly formed track, though the middle section turns boggy once the rain sets in, so pick your day if you'd rather stay clean.
