Whangaiterenga Campsite sits in the Coromandel Forest Park, near where the Whangaiterenga Stream meets the Kauaeranga River. Facilities include flush toilets and a water supply, with water also available from the stream. The river is the highlight here: there's easy access for a swim or to cool off, and a couple of short bush walks lead directly from the campsite.
