Campsite in the Waikato region
Dunham’s Point is situated on Lake Whakamaru with access from Ongaroto Road. It is one of the South Waikato's designated camping areas. A free permit is required to camp here.
The reserve has stunning views of the Waikato River with it's unusual rocks visible beneath the waters and the high bluffs rising above the opposite bank. Large grassy areas make this an ideal spot for family picnics and casual camping
