Zigzag Road is an easy gravel climb up through Manawatu-Whanganui hill country, switchbacking to big views and links onto other routes at the top.
True to its name, this one switchbacks its way up into the hill country, gaining height steadily as it goes. Nothing more than a bit of gravel, it cuts out a bit of time on the seal.
