A proper hard track - head up the side of the Kaimai Ranges and earn yourself an incredible view from the top. This is a challenging climb in places, with steep sections and surfaces that can become slippery after rain, so it’s best tackled when the weather has been reasonably dry. A capable 4WD and some experience off-road are recommended.

This is a shared-use track, so please drive responsibly and keep damage to a minimum. Avoid spinning wheels or tearing up the surface - the future of tracks like this depends on everyone doing their bit to look after them.
