A short gravel run that drops down to Tapotupotu Campsite near the very top of the country, not far from Cape Reinga. The road is well-formed and easy going, fine for just about any vehicle, so it's a simple way down to the bay.

On the way down there are some good views out over the water, with the road leading toward a sheltered beach and the campsite tucked in behind it.
