A proper hard little 4WD playground not too far out of Ashburton in Canterbury, this park is a great place to test your 4WD and gear on a genuinely challenging course.

The terrain is rated very hard, so come prepared, and note that tight bush sections can give vehicles a bit of rash. Going in with a buddy or a group makes the obstacles a lot easier and safer, though it's still a rewarding run if you're confident going solo. The park is open during daylight hours only.

All vehicles need to be road legal and have proper recovery points. Stay on the track, don't cut trees, and look after the place - it's a pretty unique thing to have access to, so keep it that way for everyone who follows. Expect to head home with a good smile on your face.
