Cruise along the side of North Mavora Lake and head up to Boundary Hut. You must get the gate code from DOC before heading into the valley, make sure to do it when you still have reception.

Be sure to stay on the track - the gate has been put in as a measure to reduce the pressure on the area. It won't take much to get the area permanently closed which would be a real shame.

The track itself varies a lot depending on the weather and the lake level and you may have to "make your own adventure". It's start off in the forest north of the campground and jumps out again in the open further up.

Vehicles are not permitted beyond the hut, so please don't push on.
