One of the Far North's long gravel roads, Marlborough Road winds through the Northland hills and carries you inland away from the coast. The route is a graded gravel road that climbs and descends through rolling hill country, making for an enjoyable, straightforward drive.

We've used it alongside a few other roads in the area as part of a longer run through to the twin bridges, so it links well into wider exploring of the district. A solid, fun choice for a relaxed day out.
