Climbing up into Oteake Conservation Park, this well-formed gravel track opens onto wide high-country views. It's an easy drive without any real technical challenge, so you can take your time and enjoy the open landscapes.

There are a fair few farm gates along the way, so it pays to bring someone to help with the opening and closing, and leave every gate as you found it.

The track ties into the wider network of roads up this way and can be used to complete a loop around the nearby dam. A relaxed run if you're after big country without working too hard for it.
