Out near the northeastern tip of the East Cape, this is about as far-flung as the North Island gets. The drive runs along the sand, with how far you can get varying depending on conditions.

Easygoing beach run that generally doesn't cause trouble. As with any beach track, keep an eye out for others sharing the sand, walkers and vehicles alike, and stay on top of the tide.
