A short scenic run linking the Haldon Arm campground with the lookout near the dam. By crossing the iron bridge you skip any real river crossings, which keeps it easy and family-friendly rather than a technical challenge.

The going is mostly gravel, and you get good views over the lake and dam area as you climb to the lookout. It can get a bit overgrown in places, so expect the odd branch brushing the vehicle.
