(3)

Heading up the Cobb Valley is an easy drive that follows the valley to the Cobb power station, reservoir and a campsite at the end. The road runs roughly half sealed, half gravel.

The gravel sections are well formed and the going stays easy, which means it suits a wide range of vehicles and experience levels. Good one if you want the scenery without the difficulty. The real payoff comes at the top of the valley, where the views open right up over the reservoir.

Allow around an hour and a half to drive in from the main road. With the campsite at the far end, you can do it as a day trip or pitch up for a quiet night.
