The camping ground is located in corner of Victoria Park. The 6.8 ha park is in the heart of Waimate, an ideal spot to explore the town and district. Shops, eateries and the swimming pool are within walking distance, and a short drive will take you to the many walks surrounding the town.

The park has beautiful gardens, trees and lawns, animal enclosures, a cycling oval, a 9-hole Frisbee golf course, open and sheltered picnic areas and a modern playground.
