A peaceful, scenic campsite on the shores of Moke Lake, an easy drive from Queenstown in Otago. The setting is the big draw: stunning mountain views all around, with the lake often turning to glass on still mornings for perfect reflections.

There's plenty of space to spread out, even when it gets busy with vans and tourists over peak periods, and the site is reasonably sheltered from the wind. Facilities are simple but well kept, including modern long-drop toilets, a shelter for cooking, and tap water (untreated, so boil before use). It's a non-powered tent and vehicle site, and you pay in the honesty box on site by cash or card.
