Campsite in the Otago region

Kinloch Campsite is a quiet DOC lakeside spot on Lake Wakatipu near Glenorchy in Otago, with a jetty, boat launching and cracking sunsets.

(1)

Across the water from Glenorchy, on the shores of Lake Wakatipu, this DOC campground sits in a quiet, open corner with the lake right there. The setting is peaceful and campers reckon the sunsets here are hard to beat.

Non-powered tent sites suit anyone keen to swim, kayak, fish or get out on the water, with a jetty and boat launching on hand. Handy too if you're heading off onto the Caples and Greenstone tramping tracks.

Facilities are the basics: non-flush toilets, untreated tap water (boil before use), and wheelchair-accessible access. There's a bar, cafe and restaurant nearby to round the spot out. Dog-friendly with dogs kept on leads. Standard DOC fees apply.
