Fletcher Bay Campsite

Campsite in the Coromandel region

Fletcher Bay Campsite is a sheltered beachfront DOC site at the very end of the road on the northern Coromandel, with good fishing, walks and stargazing.

(2)

Right at the very tip of the northern Coromandel, where the road finally runs out, this beachfront campsite sits in a working farm setting. The bay is sheltered and scenic, with a good beach right on your doorstep and sweeping coastal views.

Plenty to do here. Swimming, boating, diving and good fishing off the rocks, and several walks lead straight from the camp. On clear nights there's no light pollution to speak of, so the stargazing is something else.
