At the edge of Kaimanawa Forest Park, this campsite sits right at the start of the Hinemaiaia Track. The drive in is easy and runs through some lovely native forest, with camping spots dotted along the way.

Facilities are basic: non-powered tent sites, fire pits (except during fire bans), non-flush toilets, and water from the stream. No cell reception, so come prepared.
