A great addition if you are passing by the area of Waimate. It offers high altitude views over the ocean as well as the surrounding mountain ranges. The route poses no real technical challenge however concentration is key as a slipup near one of the steep drop-offs would result in a painful outcome.

Please note that there are other tracks in the area however these are private tracks. Mount Studholme Road was previously closed due to people trespassing with vehicles. It is important to keep to the main public tracks to avoid track closure again.
