The Black Birch Observatory Road climbs up through forestry then zig zag up above the snow line. Take your time the road is covered in loose sharp rocks. As you climb the views are huge. The weather can change very quickly here, so be ready. You will encounter some steep grades so if it is wet you will require mud tires.

Take it slow you will be rewarded at the top.
